Mozilla Thunderbird is a popular open-source email client that allows users to manage multiple email accounts efficiently. If you use Gmail and want to access your emails through Thunderbird, follow this step-by-step guide to set up your account.
Step 1: Enable IMAP in Gmail
Before configuring Thunderbird, you must enable IMAP access in your Gmail account.

Click Save Changes at the bottom.
Step 2: Generate an App Password (If 2-Step Verification is Enabled)
If you have enabled 2-Step Verification for your Google account, you need to generate an app-specific password.
-
Go to Google’s App Passwords page.
